Mildmay Arms in South Somerset

Quick pint on the way past.Lovely looking pub, chatty staff, good looking menu.If we lived here we would definitely be regulars!

Celebrated our golden wedding anniversary here with other friends celebrating the same. Meal was amazing nothing was to much trouble, owners surprised us with an excellent cake to end our meal and also ferried us back to our campsite afterwards. At no cost.

Excellent food, excellent service, friendly staff, made us very welcome.

Service was rushed as soon as we sat down they jump on us asking for drinks, when we just sat down. Throw the board at us with the menu on. Drinks came out all cokes were flat. Service kept rushing us to choose what we wanted. Menu was slim and doesn’t suit everyone’s needs or diet. When said to management we didn’t want to eat they told us to get out and sit in the bar even tho we booked the table. When paying the gentle said is that all your paying for, as all way paying different ways. I wouldn’t recommend management and staff are disgusting. The pub was dirty and disgusting.

Staff are amazing I had a two night stay, room was good, shower awesome food brilliant I can highly recommend will definitely use again

I would not recommend staying here. Freezing bedroom, (apparently the boiler broke but no apology: "these things happen" and no discount to compensate. Landlord and lady not very friendly, dinner was nice but breakfast was greasy and not asked what I wanted included in the full English. Very expensive for what was provided.

Lovely friendly place, the steak & ale pie was the best I've ever had, will definitely be back.

We have just had a really good roast dinner at the Mildmay Arms. The food was superb and the service was excellent.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat and ended up having a Sunday roast lunch. Food was superb and excellent value at only £11.50. Portion size was considerable as well. Highly recommended!
