Mukta balti in South Somerset

Fantastic takeaway, all the food was delicious and so so generous with portions, I will not go anywhere else.Thank you.

We have tried a few of the Indian restaurants/takeaways in Yeovil and we keep coming back to this one. The polite service on the phone is always very helpful. I have not tried online ordering although we use the website to make choices . We ordered early, as it was Saturday evening, for a time that suited us and the meal for three was delivered at the time requested. As usual large portions, well spiced and no complaints. Highly recommended. Thank You to all at Mukta Balti for another fantastic meal.

Won't go anywhere else for a curry, the chicken pasanda is the best. Even friends from London that tried mukta curry said they haven't found anything as flavoursome and great value as mukta Balti and our looking forward to Covid being over so they can visit for a curry night!

I don't often get this sort of takeaway but gosh it was fab. The Morisa was hotter than I was expecting for a 'medium' but was very tasty. Came with a free naan and papadum too and was so much food I'll be eating it tonight as well.

Absolutely amazing food, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my Indian. They always give me free onion bhajis too which are my favourite. Customer service over the phone is really helpful when you're unsure of dishes and allergies.For the people who don't like Mukta's food or have ever given a bad review clearly don’t have good taste in food! There is a looong wait for delivery on Saturdays but just goes to show how popular Mukta is. I'll be back next week for more food :)

Really tasty food, I am a regular and always order from Mukta. We always get the Chicken Tikka Masala and ask for it madras hot it's so good and we always get our free Bombay Potatoes. Looking forward to the next meal.

The food is average with the exception of the garlic rice which I would say can be exceptionally good.I won't go here again because I made a normal order of lamb madras, garlic rice and garlic nan but they could not do garlic rice "because of covid" so I said ok and settled for plain rice. They said it would be delivered within a hour and be £13.50.70mins later it arrived, I had a £20 note but the driver had "no change" so after they refused to let me pay them next time ( I'm a fairly regular customer and yeovillian) they took the food away.The owner then rang me and I explained I'm not paying like 54% more for the meal than was agreed. He didn't see my side but offered to send the food back out with the right change, I didn't want to seem cheap by saying I'll only pay £10 for it now because it would be nearly 100mins before it arrives so I told him not to bother and he told me not to order from him again.

Absolutely rubbish. Over cooked chicken with all the dishes we had. mango chutney had gone off lamb bhuna was ok. Mushroom rice was good poppadoms really salty. We did send a email to complain but still no reply.

My favourite Indian TakeawayThe best Phall I have ever had. I always try different dishes as well as the phall, and my wife whom is a vegetarian also loves the Veg curry, mushroom bhaji etc.... Sometimes it's so busy there is a wait on a Saturday but it's worth waiting. Plus I used Mukta for over 17 years and I am not bored, great menu.

Nicest Indian takeaway in Yeovil. We have always bought from the restaurant in takeaway alley but seeing the good mid week deals Mukta Balti do we thought we’d give it a try....... so not dissopointed !!!!It was delicious ! The chicken melted in the mouth and just fell off the fork , amazing . The sauces were spot on. Portion sizes were very good.We have found ourselves a new Indian takeaway.Would highly recommend .
