National Trust in South Somerset

Nice surroundings, decent food, polite staff! All in all, pleasant end to a nice afternoon.

Food very tasty although a bit burnt. Main problem was that every single available table needed to be cleaned. They all had crumbs and spilt drinks. We cleared one for ourselves and no one appeared, at any time, to sort it out.

Very clean , tables sanitizered after every customer. Good quality food with a good variety

Stopped in the NT cafe for a quick drink and bite to eat. Tables were cleaned after every customer with a note placed on the table confirming it had been cleaned. Shame it took covid to encourage cafes and restaurants to do this. Hot drinks were fine cheese scone was very tasty

Would have 5 stars, however the staffing levels are currently affected by sicknesses, which of course had an effect on service availability.Very friendly staff and helpful when asked about allergens.

Just too busy, and the quality of food was just like a canteen not a cafe.

Nice area to sit. Snacks or lunch. Limited menu but all home baked. Quiche, pulled pork baps, pasties, pre packed sandwiches, cakes. Tables thoroughly cleaned between customers.

We had a lovely lunch at the national trust restaurant after a super walk around the lake. A really good loop walk. The song the 12 days of Christmas was represented by wicker figures.
