Lovely local pub, nice food, only issues I had was I ordered the “brunch breakfast” and it came with 1 rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 hash brown, 4 mushrooms and a few spoonfuls of beans. Such a shame on the portion size for the price of the food, I’d expect more for £7.50.

Stayed overnight in our Campervan on a Road trip i can't fault the service at the Old Pound Inn, from start to finish a pleasant experience, & if you eat in the pub electrical hook up is included at no extra cost, and breakfast was lovely thank you to the landlady Lea,

Stayed here for a few nights in December, just perfect for what I needed and they are dog friendly! I've been back a few times, always super friendly service and the BBQ chicken I had was fantastic. Great prices and service, highly recommend.

Myself and my partner had skittles at this pub last night along with the rest of skittles team for the first time ever.... and now the last.We had skittles from 8.15pm untill 11pm but at 10.30 the landlady came into us whilst we were having a game and was very rude and said how long are you going to ve you should have finished at 10.30 what a very rude woman, didn't even finish out drinks just got in our cars and left.

Pleasant, friendly country pub, well used by locals and visitors alike. Quiet restaurant area away from the main bar where we had an excellent meal. Good range of choices including specials; I had the vegetable pie which was superb. Currently staying in Aller for a few days, we shall definitely return before we depart. Highly recommended.

Played skittles here on a Friday evening, a lovely welcoming local pub, drinks were very reasonable and bar snacks were proper nice, ham and mustard bap with a pickled egg on the side. Didn't try the meals on the menu but seeing some of the other customers meals I wish I had, certainly a pub I will be going back to, hopefully soon.

We unexpectedly came here for lunch this afternoon; as we only live a short drive away and we cannot wait to come back! The food was delicious - very reasonably priced, barely any wait at all and amazing portions. The Staff were so attentive and the drinks were also delicious and reasonably priced. By the time we left, we were already excited to return. An absolute gem that we can’t wait to make our local. Thank you for a great experience!

Great stopover for motorhomes. Excellent food at reasonable prices. The Lemon Aller Mess is a must try. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Will be back.
