Palmers Fish and Chips in South Somerset

Extremely nice chips every time I go and would be 5 * but I swear the large portion decreases in size every time I go! At £3 ild expect at least double the amount I’ve recently received! Other then that they have to be the best chippy around!!

Excellent fish and chip shop restaurant, with a large table area to dine in. Service was great with minimal waiting time.

Lunchtime Fish and Chips.. can't beat it.!Very, very, clean and tidy restaurant. Plenty of seating and very attentive staff. The food arrived within minutes.Delicious, crispy batter Seniors Fish and Chips for £7.50. So far all good, good, good..But.. and I'm sorry to say this.. being charged £2.50 for a small glass of Coke is a total and utter rip-off.!!.. Sorry guys, but that took the gloss off the whole meal..Otherwise very good indeed..

This was eaten in the garden centre restaurant next door to the fish and chip shop of the same name!Jacket potato and salad. Reasonably priced and a fair sized potato nicely cooked, with lovely seasoned skin.

It has become a regular haunt whenever we are in yeovil for the weekend. Fish and chips for me and steak pie, chips and beans for husband. Generous portions, (I have the senior fish, chips and peas) and its quite enough for me. Husband could quite honestly eat his own body weight every day and he is perfectly satisfied with the portions too! There is much more on the menu including deserts. Needless to say, husband has also tried several deserts (not all at once) and was very complimentary. The staff are excellent, friendly and efficient. Wine and beer is also available. Overall, the prices are very reasonable.

Hi Just had fish and chips from PAMERS and it is so amazing. The fish is actually white and not grey like some other chip shops. My wife said it's the best she has ever had. We have come up from Newton Abbot for a funeral, but a friend of ours has always said try the fish and chips, simply DELICIOUS.Thank you Palmers.

Lovely crispy chips (all I had) in a thick paper bag. Quick service. Self service condiments. Not the cheapest, but good quality

Found this gem by accident while travelling through, now sadly a rare good old fashioned fish and chip restaurant that once was everywhere. Lovely quality food, immaculate clean dining area, great service by very friendly helpful and efficient staff. Very happy to recommend and a shame it's so far from home.

Excellent table service with tasty cod and chips. The sweet course and latte made for a superb lunch. Very friendly and worth a future visit soon.
