Preston Road Takeaway in South Somerset

The order taker has not read the name of this establishment! Probably thinks it was Rude House or No Manners House. Hilariously awful customer facing dialogue! Blunt grumpy to the point of being humourous. The food was lovely though and I will definitely be using them again, and, even looking to forward to that interesting customer interface.

I ordered on News Year New and the food arrived uncooked. I called immediately but they were rude and said call back (I understood they were very busy!) When I called back I was told I would receive a refund....I never receive that. Called 7days later and was again met we such rudeness and only got a £10 refund. Such a shame but it really has gone down hill Will definitely not order from them again

I've recieved my order, on time I have to say. However the sauce has spilt everywhere, my drink is missing, really disappointed. Food is really nice but after a long day of work, like most people, I wanted to order a takeaway and have everything I ordered, and this is my first time ordering.

I only had cod and chips , it took 70 minutes to arrive. Some of the chips were green and very dry, soggy batter . It's only saving grace was the white fish was hot and tasty . . Disappointed, as I'd had covid and lost my taste for nearly 2 weeks I fancied it as 1st thing to enjoy after losing my taste and smell!!! I wouldn't get it again

The meal in edible tonight really salty and the beef in the crispy noodles was off and really smelly the prawn balls were hard and the prawn crackers were soft. It has really put me off. I hope. You take these comments on board as you will lose customers. I usually put half this order in the deep freezer for another night but there is no point as it is in edible tonight. There was not a dish that was passible. We have been good customers of the Happy House but it will be a long time before we willvventure back.

Shockingly fast delivery. Lovely food. One dish of the order arrived incorrect (it was a battered and fried item so can understand the confusion). They offered to give our mistaken item free for next delivery as they only had one delivery van out. Much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Ordering was easy but did not expect delivery to be so quick with a very friendly driver.As for the food, it was fantastic. The thick noodles were probably only 8 out of 10 but as for the teriyaki chicken, and the sweet and sour chicken balls, cooked perfectly and had a great taste. 10 out of 10. Thank you.

The food is exceptional, I have an autistic child and is extremely fussy but she actually tried and liked your food one and only Chinese so far in 8 years. The food delivered hot and good portions sizes to. Very happy wil be ordering again soon.

Arrived spot on the time ordered and everything perfectly cooked and delicious. My only complaint was that the prawn crackers did not seem freshly cooked.

Ordered food at 6.30pm via just eat with a confirmed delivery of 7.20pm. I called at 7.50pm to ask where the food was and was told it would be 15/20 minutes. Called again at 8.25pm and after waiting 5 mins for them to track down the driver was told that our food was on the way from martock. So our food was taken 5 miles into the countryside then driven another 5 miles back into yeovil. Was finally delivered at 8.40!
