Sparkford Inn Pub in South Somerset

Lovely welcoming pub with friendly staff.Maria cooked a lovely meal, seemed to really care about us having a good meal, and went the extra mile.Lucy was charming and efficient. Ross has got the place well organised and well run. It’s a lovely homely and welcoming pub.Highly recommend.

Everything about this place seems a contradiction.Google listing, Facebook page, website: ALL say different things, inc its address, name and menu, all hint at all day opening. Went at 5pm 16/6/22 and no signs of life. Inside we could the chairs up on the tables.Probably won't bother again - but it does show the two-way power of a website/Google listing.PS If you're in the area, go up to the Orchard Inn, Galhampton. Its spot on and very friendly.

Arrived yesterday evening 1700. Door locked and nobody available.Like the other 3 vehicles in the car park I left.Found that the Mildmay Arms in the nearby village of Queen Camel had a lovely pint of Doombar, a very busy bar and excellent customer service.Stuff you Sparkford Inn

Attended a friend's wedding here, amazing venue, really well done and had a great time.

Great Pub, very polite and helpful Bar staff, Very clean and Well Looked after. Fair prices.This has become a regular stop now on a friday after work to relax and have a fair priced drink. I can see why such a great pub continues to survive when others are not.

Nice clean and tidy room... Pleasant check in and food service.....Fine for a quick stop over whilst visiting family

Stopped for a beer on the way to family party.Welcoming staff and the beer was good wife enjoyed her coffee and kids enjoyed playing pool.

Lovely old Inn with very pleasant staff.food was hit and miss two enjoyed theirs two disappointed. Very small range of wine by glass. Only one sherry brand and no herbal teas.

Excellent place to stay. Room very cosy and clean. Great breakfast. Included in the price. Evening meals where nice but choices were limited due to shortage of some items off the menu. Staff very friendly and welcoming nothing too much trouble. Definitely stay here again.

Gemma and the team hosted a meal for our wedding and I can not thank them enough. Everyone was lovely, the tables looked beautiful and the food was great. She was so helpful throughout the whole process and I'm really grateful, we had a wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone at the Sparkford Inn!
