Stonemasons in South Somerset

We were shown to a table quickly which we'd reserved on line. They didn't mention how we should order our food so we naturally assumed that we could order by scanning the QR code. It soon became clear it wasn't taking food orders, so we'd have saved alot of time if we'd been advised of that when seated at the table. When ordering at the bar,it also became clear that the wine availability was nothing as extensive as the app indicated when we scanned the code.However, we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our meals appeared, were impressed with the portions size and taste and was good value too.

The southern fried burger with the hash brown was great, excellent in fact. I ordered a pizza with a couple of extra toppings and to be honest the pizza could have done with 3 more minutes, pepperoni wasn't cooked at all. Should have told him to give it a few more minutes in hindsight.

Would not reccomend. Though roast beef . Dog had most of the vegetables which she usually loves. Even she was sick later.

We had a nice time at the Stonemasons in Ilminster. We had a Brie Dipper sharer (this would have been nicer with a salad garnish to freshen it up, but still nice. Followed by a Tuna Cheese melt and a Leek and Cheese and Onion Pie. The server was very polite and provided colouring for the kiddies. Nice enough and would visit again. Would be better withs side salads.

Went out with family and friends. Had a great day experience and lovely food. The front of house members were welcoming and kind. Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back soon. Thanks to the chefs Tom and Josh for the amazing food.

Lovely greeting at the door by a staff member who let us know how things work re ordering food.Everywhere looked clean and tidy, which is encouraging in this day and age.Background music was at an acceptable level.Food options for Vegetarians were a little limited on the day and I had to go with my third choice, not ideal, but apologies were made and actually, the food was very tasty.

Really like the new menu had some amazing new food choices, Marc Cooper was cooking my god daughters pizza and ensure to check she only wanted cheese and how much, she really likes this service, both the girls enjoyed their food, I really enjoyed the new Brie bites.Great service and atmosphere, perfect for taking the family and friends. The toy machines give good entertainment for little ones

I had a huge order of take away pizzas from the Stonemasons and boy did they deliver! I was celebrating a 30th birthday and had ordered about 15 pizzas to collect. I had a few complicated dietary requirements which they happily catered for. In fact, they went above and beyond and make sure they were all clearly labelled and even suggested doing some pizzas garlic bread to suit those dietary needs too. To top it all off, my bill was cheaper than expected as they were going £6 pizzas that night! The service was impeccable and the staff were super friendly. They even threw in a free bottle of prosecco to thank me for my order and to help with my celebrations! I couldn't have asked for any more and would definitely recommend them to everyone! Unfortunately, the pizzas didn't hang around for long and I didnt snap a photo but did get a snap of the aftermath which basically says it all! Thank you all so much!

Nice pub, recently refurbed with a large car park - we had 3 kids & 4 adults and they catered for us well. Food was good and we had a view straight to the play area, so could relax and keep an eye on the littleuns causing havoc

The Stonemasons is a great Marstons pub and restaurant, it's well managed, very clean and well presented outside and inside. We were extremely impressed with the starters and mains we had ordered as these were also very well presented, top quality and really great value for money and a decent amount. These were served by very attentive, cheerful and polite waiter and waitress, We will most definitely return in both near and foreseeable future and would definitely bring family and friends. A VERY THANK YOU AND WELL DONE TO THE MANAGEMENT, CHEF WAITER AND WAITRESS.
