Tamburino Ristorante in South Somerset

This is our favourite restaurant in town. We have never had a bad experience or a bad meal in the 9 years we have been coming here. My Husband is a chef and I'm fussy about my food! So happy to see they got through covid. Thoroughly recommend for anyone celebrating anything or even for a fantastic authentic Italian meal. ALL the stars, every single time 😁👍

Very kind and friendly waiter, who gave good recommendations for mains starters and desserts. The half calzones half pizzas were both delicious. the chicken was tender and the sauce was creamy but not to rich. The puddings were nice and fresh, maybe a bit small for the price. Deffinayly would recommend the pizzza/calzone.

An absolutely wonderful experience! Tamburinos is all you'd expect of a proper family-run Italian restaurant. A great selection of properly tasty Italian food, with great pride taken in it's cooking and presentation. And great service too. All at a pretty reasonable price - it doesn't get much better than this...No wonder it was absolutely heaving when we ate here on Saturday Night (do book ahead, or you might miss out!)This place is a definite recommendation if you're staying at the Yeovil Premier Inn just over the road.

Amazing restaurant, amazing food, very family friendly. The service is fantastic, the food doesn't take long to be cooked and the music isn't to loud like other restaurants. Definitely recommend 👌

Amazing food and amazing service. The workers are really nice

Now I would've given this place 5 stars however there was a man in the corner, drinking, miserable and shouting at the staff. I watched and listened to him shout and abuse the waiters which were lovely and later I found out it was the owner. Really rude and ruined the experience for me and he should not be doing that Infront of the customers or ever for that fact. Now to the food, it was lovely. Probably the best pizza I've had in ages and my work mate had the spaq bowl which he also said was lovely. The waiter and waitress were both lovely and professional and the service was excellent. I will definitely come back again as long as the boss is nowhere to be seen and then maybe I'll give it 5 stars.

Always enjoy eating here. Great food great atmosphere (even during socially distanced seating arrangements) and great Italian hosts with great personalities. Can't beat it.
