Idilic county pub serving some of the best food you could ever wish to eat. Picture is our view sat outside with a pint of beer.

Top notch food. Beautiful presented little mouthfuls of heaven. Expensive but well worth it. Not just pub grub but exquisite flavoursome food. Highly recommended! High end food

The staff are friendly and tentative and the food is amazing! We had freshly made focaccia while waiting for the main. The medium rare fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Taste, texture and presentation were all spot on. Exquisite food and lovely service make this place a special treat!

Great food, had the Sunday roast. Probably one of the best roasts we have had. Great atmosphere and service.

Definitely our favourite restaurant in the area. Interesting menu well executed.

My husband and I had a delicious meal at The Barrington Boar last night. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I ate the Roasted Garlic and Parsley soup which was served with homemade Foccacia. My husband had Duck Pate. For main course we both had Turbot and I had a dessert of Rhubarb Jelly with Custard. Relaxing atmosphere, easy parking and altogether a great evening.

This is a proper locals pub for local people. Stopped off for a tea and a bit of food and just seemed like we were from another planet. Plus this place is well over price nearly 5quid for a bowl of chips. Which there was about ten chips in the bowl. Crazy how country pubs are so expensive

Came upon the place by chance and we were really impressed by the menu and the quality of the food! Excellent place to come after a long walk, would 100% recommend

Barrington is a beautiful village and The Barrington Boar is a credit to it. We stayed for two nights and the room was tastefully furnished with little touches (locally produced hand sanitizer) that made for a comfortable stay.The food in the restaurant was sublime, service was quick without feeling rushed and we felt looked after. Would happily visit again just for the food alone.The people of Barrington are lucky to live in such a beautiful place with superb food like this. I’d recommend The Barrington Boar whether you make a detour to visit or make it your end destination.
