Great pub and very reasonable prices. Well be back. 👍

I stayed at the Bell for a 3 night stay really relaxed atmosphere but professional and happy staff the team that work there all seem to enjoy there job . The food was amazing a must have is the vegetable lasagna best I've ever had. The lunch menu was also amazing the bacon and brie sandwich I had was wonderful. The Bell is dog friendly and the room we stayed in was so clean no evidence that a pet had stayed before if I could give 10 stars I would really enjoyed my stay.

Friendly service, we had the carvery which had generous portions of beef, lamb,& pork. There was also chicken available with lovely vegetables.

Great food well cooked. And my friend who is a very fussy and critical veggie, thought his veggieburger amazing and left his compliments for the chef. Trust me no mean compliment.

Went for a meal for 2 early afternoon today and we ended up being late for our booking but the staff were very patient and accommodating. Meghan in particular was amazing to us from the moment we entered til we said goodbye. Food was excellent! Great value for money and would recommend the sticky toffee pudding!

We had a wonderful weekend at The Bell, it is obviously the hub of the village and we can understand why. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food delicious and the service friendly and efficient with good humour. We hope to visit again in the future.

What a wonderful place... excellent food.. lots of cheery faces and our waitress who was also the barmaid was lovely She knew her menu in and out and went the extra mile to accommodate us. First class !

The ham, egg and chips were excellent and my father said the steak and ale pie was the best he'd ever had; high praise indeed. The sticky toffee pudding was beautifully light and delicious. On its own the food would have scored 5, but the experience was let down by slow service. We waited more than an hour for our food - a very large party arrived shortly after us and I assume the kitchen was very stretched - and when we enquired we got a very surly response from staff. We were probably just unlucky in our timing so I recommend.

The Bell In was recommended to us by a local. Five stars because the staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was excellent. It was proper pub food, clearly home made, not pulled out of a freezer. The beer battered fish and chips were superb. The pub is open for dining in with Covid restrictions in place but that didn't impact our visit at all. Booking ahead is probably a good idea. No play area for kids but that wasn't a problem for us. The beer garden is small but with a nice view

What a lovely pub. Great food, service and open space to sit with the family. Found purely by a google map search. What a wonderful find. Tom was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. Clean plates all round.
