Very nice pub, food was good too, hardly anyone in there so it felt very safe, staff very friendly and professional.

In the past I have found this pub excellent, but today, although staff was very helpful and friendly, the food wasn't as good as previous. The steaks were overdone, and chilli not as hot (temperature) as it should be. However, chips were perfect.

Camped here in campervan twice now and it's clean, sheltered and well spaced out. Owners are very flexible and friendly. Location good within walking distance of mainline station (half mile) but bring torch.Pub wise it's a casual friendly place with very good food and excellent selection of ciders as well as the usual ones. Outdoor childrens play areaIf we didn't live 250 miles away I'd say we would be regular visitors here

Absolutely lovely roast beef dinner a moderately priced very pleasant red wine two special coffees in a dimly little but clean bar area at a very reasonable price. What's not to like.

A small pub, full of character. Absolutely delicious food, amazing prices. Staff are wonderful, attentive and helpful. We had 2 small kids (2&4 years old) and the staff were wonderful! We will definitely be back again! Thank you to the lovely bar lady :)

Stayed here for a nights camping, it was lovely. Quiet little field at the back of the pub. Toilets and showers were very good. There is a road on each side of the field but you soon don't even hear the cars.Also tried food in the pub, think the majority of the food is home cooked, lovely food and staff.
