The Camelot in South Somerset

Arrived right on opening time so we were warned there would be a wait.The wait was worth it - fab lasagne & garlic bread. The burger was excellent. And the chips - fabulous. Highly recommend.It's pretty much our "local" but having only moved here last year, this was our first visit. Will be back regularly.

Delicious food. Amazing friendly service. We ordered both of the vegan options on the menu and were not disappointed. Its been over a week since we have been and all i can think about is the buddha bowl, i will definitely be going back again soon!

Had such a great time at the pub, the staff are super and the food was amazing ! Good selection of drinks to. Such a bonus that the pub is dog friendly ! We had the chance to sit out in the garden to make the most off the sunshine, that for me was the cherry on top ! All round lovely environment and people couldn’t recommend this place more ! Will definitely be coming back ;)

Nice pub and people. Nice outdoor garden area. Unfortunately food finished to early for us to order on a Saturday around 4pm.

Lovely food, large portions. Well located very close to Cadbury Castle. Service was a tad slow, but didn't have many staff on.

Lovely people, pub, food, place, and absolutely everything! The hill ford just up hill from the pub has an impressive views to Glastonbury tor, a not missed sunset! Sara was so welcoming and we had to call to check if they still serving food, they made us a plate for us! We couldn't be happier here. Wish them the best. And music coming soon! Hopefully will play here one day xx

A brilliant pub! Such friendly and helpful staff. Had a great lunch after a windy walk up on Cadbury Castle. Booked a table for 11 people on a Sunday, didn't want a big lunch and they happily made us all the best cheesey chips I have ever had. Fabulous atmosphere, cant wait to go back.

Visited back in April. Despite showing up without a reservation minutes before the kitchen closed, we were made welcome and much to our delight were served food.The staff were brilliant. The food and drinks were great. The outdoor seating was top notch, of course it helped that the sun came out to play that day too.The Camelot is a great country pub and certainly worth going out of your way to visit.

Amazing pub with warm hospitality and food to die for! 🌟We stopped by here without a reservation after walking at Cadbury castle/hill fort.Managed to get a table in the garden and we’re told it would take a while for food due to bookings before us, etc. Very pleasant having drinks in the garden, with birdsong and fortunately gorgeous sunny weather (and fortunately our toddler slept in her buggy after sampling the homemade sausage roll). 🍹When the food came, it was definitely worth the wait; generous portions, extra chunky well seasoned chips, home cooked lasagne, creamy coleslaw, thick chunks of ham with fresh eggs that had tasty yellow yolks, Cajun chicken and wild boar burgers were enormous and tasted delectable! 🍟 🍔 🥓 🍝 😋Will definitely stop by again when next visiting Grannie & Grandpa (who live in nearby Yeovil). 😊

Nice place. The staff are excellent. The fish beautifully cooked. Beer well looked after.
