Would avoid Sunday lunch food on the hot counter carvery looked shocking no attention to detail. Offers to bring stuffing to the table but it never arrived. The puddings were nice probably brought in . Tables so close together you can barley sit down. Not even a drinks menu please save your money

Clean local pub, however, disappointed by receiving 50 pence worth of sandwich ham as part of my ham, egg, and chips. Previous review photo depicted large sliced ham, not pieces of cold wafer thin ham, definetly not £14 worth. No issue with quality of service but the quality of the food should have been questioned before leaving the kitchen

First time visiting here. Service was quick staff were friendly. Went on a Sunday so had the Carvery. Portions were ample and allowed to have a variety of meats. Food was delicious and loved the home made gravy from stock. I'd advise to book ahead as it can get very busy.

Nobody in the restaurant, not a good sign as this place was always full pre covid. Tried severs pubs but all booked. Ordered curry of the day Korma which was OK. My husband had mega burger with triple cooked chips when it arrived the chips were just thin fries so he informed the waitress who apologised and brought out the triple cooked chips a little later but then he had finished his meal. There was two guys, I presume who owned the pub, moving tables, no interaction with us. Don't think we'll be going back, which is a great shame.interaction with us

Had the afternoon tea and was a bit disappointed had no egg and cress sandwiches or any mustard in the ham ones so had to ask for this and was told they had not cooked any eggs !! So had to wait for them to cook eggs again I didn’t understand as on the creamtea menu was egg and cress !! also pot of tea came with no milk again had to ask also the jam was a disappointment was in plastic expected at least a jar if not some in a dish like the clotted cream which was plenty of cream the cakes were delicious though

Nice tasting lunch, unfortunately the heating in the dining area wasn't on, so I didn't stay for dessert and coffee.

Would highly recommend. We've been here a few times now and every time we've been greeted by friendly staff and amazing food. We've had various things off their menu but would suggest you give the carvery a go.We've never been disappointed and will 100% be going back!!
