It was a typical Witherspoon's experience, good food at a good price, with good alround service. Always enjoy ourselves whenever we visit a Witherspoon's on our travels.

Lovely wetherspoon in a converted cinema. Lots of history on the walls with pictures. Friendly staff and plenty of good value food and drink. Car park at the back and one across the road. Toilets are upstairs and kept clean regularly

Enjoyed a meal with friends here.It was unusually quiet on the Sunday afternoon of the Jubilee weekend.Friend ordered using the App so didn't need to order at bar. Food arrived quickly.

Since lockdown began I never have been much of a fan of Wetherspoons. I was somewhat reluctant to go earlier today, however I must say I was quite surprised. Wetherspoons in Chard seem to have cleaned up their act, I tried a new item on their breakfast list an 'American breakfast'. Not bad at all. Their bottomless cup of coffee was really good. What really surprised me was the price of their beers starting from 99 pence a pint.

I love a Wetherspoons! Excellent range of food and drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and not bad quality either. Open all day so an ideal venue whatever the occasion! Great atmosphere too - always friendly and welcoming!

Went to the Cerdic in Chard for a late lunch, my friend had the lemon and herb chicken and I had the large mixed grill. After receiving our meals straight away my friends chicken didn't look right, so I turned it over and all I can say it looked green/rancid, and mine wasn't that great either.Don't eat here.

Needs a pick of paint up stairs by the toilets doesn't look good. But staff were very friendly and help full. The breakfast has to be the best I've ever had at a weather spoons.

First time there this evening, the protective screens looked like we needed to be protected from them with the amount of scrum.on them. I must say though I was enjoying my food until a work colleague found a slither of metal in the meat from his mixed grill. Won't be eating here again.

My wife and I called in for lunch. This is a typical Wetherspoons pub although it's very large and it's in an old cinema / theatre. It has the typical Wetherspoons menu - good, solid British pub grub - the chairman did support Brexit, after all. There were paper menus on the table so we made our choices and I went up to the bar to order. Problem: the rainbow salad I wanted was not on the computer. After a phone call and subsequent scrutiny of the menu, it turns out I had the September menu - that is what was on our table, silly me - and today was the 4th of October. So I chose something else. All the staff were polite and friendly - just please get your menus sorted!
