Needed to stop to charge the car. This place was just around the corner and perfect for a quick spot of lunch. Great food and excellent service. Loved the onion rings. Thank you ☺️

I have given this 3 star pub hotel a five star rating for the warm welcome, excellent service and the particularly good cooked breakfast, all at a very reasonable price. It has a nice garden, pretty courtyard and if the hotel car park is busy there is public parking next door. We were a couple and enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a very good stay at The dolphin hotel!The bed was very comfortable, the room was nicely furnished with everything you need. The food at the bar/Restaurant was excellent, very much recommended. Not to forget the friendly staff!

Welcome was warm and inviting, room is clean and tidy. Food in the bar is well prepared and tasty.I did find the riveway is a little tight and no towel rail in the bathroom.The manager/owner was very helpful willing to open kitchen a little earlier than usual to accommodate an early start.

Lovely overnight stay! Friendly owners & staff made us and our dog very welcome. Good beer, generous breakfast - check out the Ladybird books in the reception area☺ We'd definitely stay again.

Room clean, although had to keep window closed on warm evening due to smokers smoke coming in from courtyard below. Easy access to high street, breakfast delicious. Becareful when accessing some of rooms as heavy fire door right on top of steps which can be difficult to manage with luggage.

Very loud, lots of people enjoying themselves. Nice people behind the bar turned the TV channel over to the football for me as nobody else was watching. Only disappointment was the choice of bitter. Only one choice, which I don't like. But the standard fallback of Guinness was delicious.

We stayed here for two nights, and it was a great experience; friendly and helpful staff, good parking, a large and lovely beer garden, clean and comfortable room (complete with leaded window and oak furniture!), and can honestly say the food was the best that we have had while staying anywhere (and we travel round the UK a lot!) - really delicious and generous servings! Would love to stay here again. Thank you for making our short stay in this lovely town so enjoyable!
