Good pint good music friendly welcome and dog friendly

Don’t expect a warm welcome if you’ve got a dog. Made to feel like a total pariah so we walked straight out. I’m not spending money anywhere they don’t make me feel welcome with my dog. It’s a bloody pub for F’s sake, not The Ritz.

Nice pub, good beer Wadsworth IPA superbly kept.

First time in this pub and I was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff good beer and quite a popular place.

Lovely service, very clean and nice decor. Christmas decorations and music on and looks really nice. Food was amazing, hands down the best belly pork meal I've ever had. Very reasonably priced too.

Wish we hadn't gone in...advertised superb coffee...well its out of a machine and certainly not superb! We Were going to have food but glad we didn't...went in just after it opened looks like the hoover has been broken for a while...things growing out of the carpet plus plenty of dog hairs...£4.50 I will never get back..

Lovely ambience and Charlotte the barmaid is delightful. We only stopped for a couple, but we will be back. The menu looks good and individual to the Dolphin - always a plus. Very clean and tidy and the Landlady operates to exacting and sound principles - rare these days, makes the whole experience pleasurable.

Friendly service and a good range of drinks. Pool table and often shows football matches. Would definitely recommend this pub for a drink. Haven't eaten there but saw lots of people eating who all looked happy

Just nipped in for dinner on off chance! Food pretty standard pub food but my home made lasagne was very tasty. What made it for us was the lovely,friendly atmosphere from both the regulars and in particular the lady behind the bar - very friendly and funny 😁

Lovely helpful barmaid. The food i ordered from the specials board & my partners Sunday roast were both large portions & brilliant quality delicious food. Only sad part. I was too full for pudding!
