Having just moved to the village had to try our very local pub! Went early doors to eat... Great varied menu .. good quality food and friendly efficient service from Mike Julie and the team. A really good evening and will certainly be returning on a regular basis. To meet Head of House "Bear" the German Shepherd just made the evening.. he's adorable! Thank you all ! 🙂

Good selection of well kept drinks and nice food with good atmosphere

Our first visit to Merriott, never mind the pub!The pub had only recently reopened after lockdown, so the menu was slim, and all the action took place in the garden. BUT even with those limitations, we enjoyed our visit. Nice burger and chips, good pint (Butcombe), generally making the best of the situation. It was all very friendly, and we'll go back again when things are back to normal.

Lovely friendly pub with amazing pub food and good prices doing small portions too. Very good selection of Ales, Beers, Wines and spirits with lovely bar ladies. Great place to eat and drink with friends or family. Dogs welcome too with a beer garden and covered area outside.

What a great village pub! Food is excellent! Brilliant selection of ales and spirits. Home to won of the greatest bar men I’ve ever been acquainted with. Highly recommend a visit!

They have made such an effort to turn it around after previous ownership. Now been there a few times and food is always great. The staff are great. My Dad has a heart condition and became I'll there. The guy working there was very kind.

I found this place totally charming, welcoming, and fun!Only there briefly but in that short time felt like part of there family and welcome.I say part of there family because they were, even though they weren't, one big happy family. A buzz of chat and laughter filled the atmosphere from the most genuine crowd of locals that I've ever met!

Really good service, lovely beer garden. High quality selection of drinks. Not one glass I was given was dirty which was refreshing to see. Drinks were a little bit expensive to be frank. I Haven't had the opportunity to try the food yet, but will next time I'm in. Free Wi-Fi access is always welcome.Pub is a gym on pokemon go. Huge plus for any (big) kids you bring along.
