The Muddled Man in South Somerset
Where is The Muddled Man?
🏠 Lower St, Crewkerne TA18 7PT
"Amongst the hills, Churches & rural beauty of the small village of West Chinnock sits this interesting and quirky pub, an Inn that encourages a sense of HUMOUR but takes Real Ales and Whisky very seriously but also dose food. The Muddled Man Inn is not A Gastro pub or just a drinking pub, there can also be found traditional pub grub on offer, prepared using locally farmed produce. Well-behaved Dogs Owners & Responsible Parents are welcome. When the Weather is at its worst then the large Ham stone hearth at the end of the bar, and its small but friendly bar area, has a warm and welcoming feel all year round. You will find a warm & friendly welcome here but please remember to bring your sense of humour with you."

Great pub. Good selection of ales and ciders plus good food. Most importantly, within staggering distance of my house

I'm retired and have visited pubs all my adult life but this is my favourite!

Mum and I discovered the Muddled Man a couple of months ago. Brilliant landlords. Great sense of humour and the food is great. Plenty of it. We’ve been back 3 times now. Just enjoyed a terrific Mothers Day lunch. Traditional roasts perfectly cooked tender beef and the best roast potatoes! Thank you Muddled Man 🤩see you again 🤣

Quaint pub, found it on my long run on a sunday - they welcomed me with open arms, topping up my water bottles and providing me with a welcome chat and some fizzy coke whilst I rested.

The drinks selection was first rate as was the service. A characterful place with characterful staff - my omelette was lovely too.

What a fabulous pub. We had an 80th birthday celebration here. The buffet was superb and so much of it. The skittle alley was the icing on the cake. We are going to use The Muddled Man as our venue from now on for the family meet.

Lovely country pub, landlords been running it for over 24 years as a free house, no greedy brewery's involved. Worth a visit.

We had are wedding reception here, and couldn't be any happier about how the day went. Amazing food and amazing people. Thank you All.

Very pleasant little country pub with a good beer garden and benches. A somewhat limited selection of beers and ciders but I can only assume that this is due to lock down easing. Will certainly be back to try some of their excellent looking pub food.
