The Munchies in South Somerset

Staff here are rude, the portion was small, the kebab was a wet mess and when I complained the staff were rude and refused to replace the order. Just kept saying whats your issue. Stay away from Munchies. Check out Polats Place if you want a good kebab house. I will not be visiting munchies again. I can see by all the reviews this is how they treat customers. Avoid

Tonight I ordered for delivery an xtra large kebab with cheese, cos was 10 pounds. It wasnt xtra large, it was a small by the standards of most other takeaways in yeovil. The donner meat was very dry, the pitta was burried at the bottom of the container in a pool of salad juice, the salad and sauce made it so wet it wasnt edible. The cheese was only a very light sprinkling. I called up munchies and spoke to a memeber of staff and asked them to send me another one, keeping the pitta outside the container and for am ectra large portion and not a few dry bits of meat. The guy refused and said its not a big issue, next time you order ask for the pitta seperate and ask for more meat. I said that I wanted the bad order resent, but was told no. There are much better kebab places in Yeovil, customer service here is poor too.

Ordered food which came in time however when I bit in to the chicken it was raw they sent a driver out with money bk and he was ordered to take chicken bk but didn't send any fresh so ended up with no tea

The food was thrown at the door like a dog. A 5-year-old girl was waiting 4 meters away. The pizza box was also on the ground in the mud and rain. I will never order again. I threw everything in the trash. How can a 5 year old child make a delivery to you. And to leave food on the ground in the mud I do not know.

Terrible Buisness. States they are open till 1am when I have phoned up several times to place an order at 11:30 and no one can be bothered to pick up the phone. What liars lol

I was reluctant to place a negative review as before lockdown we never had a problem. However our last 3 orders have been wrong. I rang them to make a complaint to be shouted at because I wasn't making an order. When I was passed to someone who could understand me, I was told their budgets were tight, he was losing customers by being on the phone to me and he couldnt help me. Such a shame that their loyal customers cannot be prioritised. No customer service, and nothing to rectify losing our custom. Hopefully I will be able to change my rating and review when their budget is not quite so stretched.

Shocking customer service! My wife placed an order through just eat. Which arrive early to be fair. However I would've happily waited,that extra time for an edible product.The delivery drive left the order on the door step which is no problem, I answered the acknowledged the delivery and proceeded to bring in our scran. I paced the boxes on the side and noticed my pizza box had cheese ouzing from the side of the bottom half of the pizza box. Upon opening the lid it was obvious that the pizza had been dropped of some kind of tram had happend to my dinner. So immediately I called the shop to explain what I was delivered. The abrupt person on the line basically gave me a load of waffle and It came down to the delivery drivers word against mine. All I was asking for was a replacement pizza and in a but shell was told no chance. Unacceptable behavior and a never to return customer. Save yourself from being robbed, go else where.

OK so I ordered from muchies a few weeks ago, unfortunately they got the order wrong and the response I got when i called was there was nothing they could do and hung up the phone on me....So today I decided to give it another try so I called to place an order the guy ask for my address so I told him only to get a response I don't deliver to your address you complained so after you complain we don't deliver to your address no more then hung up.I call back to defuse the situation only to be treated with disrespect.I will never order form here again I advise to anyone ordering from munchies don't complain otherwise you'll never get another delivery.

I've never had a bad experience with munchies. They have always been kind and helpful to me. I've been in there and they have always been happy to talk. I've only had one problem with a meal and they were quick to send out a replacement and even gave us a 1.5 litre bottle of coke which may only be worth £1 but still showed they were sorry about the mistake. Since then there have been no issued.

Don't know why everyone is complaining. I think they are exceptionally good for their food and price. They are efficient with their delivery and the man who works behind the counter is really polite and very pleasant to speak to. Their kebabs are at the right level, not loads of grease but not dry, and their pizzas are the best I've had anywhere. Would 100% recommend them. I've been having my deliveries from there for pizzas and kebabs
