The Nog Inn in South Somerset

What a great find!We stopped here overnight on our way to Cornwall and couldn’t be happier!We had a great meal at the pub (we both had their home made burgers which were absolutely delicious!) and a couple of pints of the local cider.The rooms are hidden away at the back of the pub down a little cobble path and are beautiful! Tastefully decorated with complimentary toiletries, dressing gowns & “proper” coffee – absolute bliss! Breakfast was also a winner – I had the full English which was really tasty.Well done Team Nog – a brilliant stay all round. Thank you!

Coming back again for dinner here, the portions are very generous which is a positive and the food tastes amazing

Went to 'fish and chips' evening on a Thursday. Really good value and great fish too. Personal, friendly service too. Highly recommended.

Steak night was amazing. Steak cooked beautifully 😍 staff brilliant, and pudding was to die for. will absolutely go again.

Visited on Fridsy evening. Table was booked & ready when we arrived. Excellent menu. We had venison & chestnut casserole, duck breast, pork belly & a vegetable chilli. All meals were excellent. Plates were warm & all vegetables were cooked perfectly. Desserts were wonderful and a really good choice & reasonably priced. We finished off with coffee. The staff were attentive and helpful. It was a great end to a good day. We all look forward to returning. Thanks to everyone at the Nog Inn.

Lovely little pub with a fireplace, great for a winter's day. Good service and nice lunch. Enjoyed the Lamb kofte burger. All food was homemade

Best pub in wincanton by miles. Lovely ales, friendly owners, lovely food, lots of charm, wonderful beer garden - and they've even sorted out the toilets! Always visit when we're here

First time to go to the Nog Inn.No expectations at all.We were greeted in a nice and friendly way. Seated at a table near the cosy fireplace.We ordered our drinks and food.The food was good. I mean, really good. Taste, well cooked and well served.Definitely will go here again when visiting my friend in Wincanton.
