Excellent food and very nice staff

Went for Sunday lunch,sorry not good at all roast potatoes were soft and very greasy,broccoli overcooked, French beans so hard ,difficult to cut with a knife, completely tasteless .

Great food, great beer and fantastic service in a proper pub! What more can you ask for?? I was visiting my dad who is a regular diner and would wholeheartedly recommend.

This visit was for a family reunion dinner and we weren't disappointed, the food and service was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for us. A beautiful setting in a equally beautiful pub and it's our local. 10 people who ordered different things the chef managed so well . Thank you so much all.

Excellent food, friendly staff, good value for money. We went there for lunch as a halfway point meeting friends. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and food was very good. Good selection of pub favourites and some excellent sharing platters.

Really nice (lunch-sized) meal. Good quality, definitely home cooked and a decent price. Good service ~ would go back. Happy 2022 to all at the pub.

I booked a table for 4 at only 10 minutes notice, and we were made welcome, as always. The food never fails to impress, and the quality and presentation is superb.Great service by the friendly staff as usual. Well done.

We visited here as were staying nearby for a wedding and were really impressed with the quality of food and service.Friendly staff and a decent beer choice.Garlic bread with cheese was very generous and a bit naughty in a good way!Had steaks and gammon and all were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Sides were plentiful and varied too.Wouldn’t hesitate to revisit when in the area again.
