The Quarry Inn in South Somerset

Went for a roast on Father’s Day. We are on holiday here and we had a lovely Roast Beef Dinner followed by ice cream. The meal was delicious and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Came here last year and will definitely be returning.

Lovely Atmosphere in a Traditional Pub Setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful to our needs.Food was tasty and a good size.Pudding was great too with a selection on the specials board.Definitely be back again.

We had not been to the pub before. Sadly we were at a wake after a funeral. We will make a point of going again for a meal.

Found by chance on the way back from South Coast, couple of nice real ale choices, good pub grub; grilled salmon off the specials board was lovely. Welcoming pub and friendly atmosphere. Very reasonable too.

Cosy pub with a log fire big enough to keep the most cold hearted souls warm, the menu offered a good range of food including vegatarian dishes. On the day I visited the Exmoor Ale was in fine order.

We arrived at the pub a couple of minutes before it opened at midday. When the landlord finally opened the doors, he didnt greet us, he just bent down and picked his post up and walked back inside. He was not welcoming at all, very miserable. I mumbled and was very hard to understand. We ordered food which came out quite quickly and was a reasonable standard. There was no atmosphere. I woukdnt go here again.

Went here for lunch .Varied menu and a comprehensive specials board , vegetarians catered for . I liked the option of being able to choose a smaller portion which was offered on some of The dishes .The main course - lasagne was delicious was served with jacket potato/ chips/veg or salad. The service was excellent and the staff/owners were friendly and helpful. There was a good range is desserts .Would certainly visit again .
