Really good pub/restaurant food. Lovely staff and warm welcome. Portions generous and good value for money. Good cask beer.

Recommended by friends and were not disappointed. Fantastic Sunday lunch and lovely atmosphere. Thank you all for making our reunion such a memorable occasion xx

·

Fantastic Sunday lunch, this is the 4rd time we have visited. The food has always been great value and superb. It also has friendly staff who go out of the way to make sure your being looked after. Best place for miles

What a lovely place. Plenty of parking, a very friendly welcome from all the staff, warm, comfortable and a great 'mature'' but by no means old, clientele i.e. no roudy behaviour at all. Clean toilets and the bar was well spaced out with stools for those not eating. Food was exceptional. Roast beef was soft and tender, roast turkey, was moist and the veg well cooked. I've never had such crisp and flavoursome roast potatoes. Haddock and chips was really lovely as well. Home made.tartar sauce, please and chips. All in all a sound recommendation from me

Nice casual atmosphere and nice and clean - we last went on New Year's Eve and had the special menu, so not fantastic value but we were happy to find somewhere at short notice and the food was fine..not quite as sophisticated as they were trying for maybe, but the starter (beef satay skewers with wakame salad) was very good.

·

Such an amazing pub. Staff were so friendly and the food was amazing (and dog friendly too which is why we chose here). Do not confuse the Royal Oak in Ilminster with this one; they're nothing alike. This one is the place to be

·

Lovely pub with friendly attentive staff. Food was brilliant, I would definitely recommend. Could do with a vegan dessert option, maybe something to think about.

·

Delish Sunday roast (veg was fantastic too) and pie! What a find on a long road trip. Great setting inside and out. The apple crumble was to die for. Excellent food.

Another cracking pub in a lovely little village.Great traditional pub with nice beer garden and sun in it all evening; if you're at the end of the garden. Plenty of parking too.We had a very friendly getting in arrival but struggled to get a table (on a Thursday) but the friendly staff soon found us one. The menu is simple but with enough choice and food was served very promptly. The quality of the food was extremely high, lovely flavours and great presentation. The only thing I could say was, for me, the the gravy was a bit thin. That said, this is one of the best meals I've had out in a while, beautiful.Highly recommend booking a visit!

A lovely village pub with great food and friendly staff. Came highly recommended by the hosts of our local holiday let and we weren't disappointed! We had a delicious meal and would certainly be back in we find ourselves back in the area again.
