Pleasant night, first time we've been for a while. A bit disappointing not to have a table available, as per my booking must have missed, as I called the night before for a reservation, and leaving a message that same afternoon to delay the booking for 15 minutes. Had to seat at the only table available in the very crowded bar area. Service was ok for a pub. Food good, will be back.

Wow! Probably one of the best Pub lunches I’ve had. Great menu perfectly executed.Very busy, squeezed us in at the last minute. Very good and friendly service.Best Scallop starter I can remember. 3 of us, all had something different. All very good.Will be going back very soon to try something else. Seemed like they had a very good team working well together. Very well decorated, quite quirky. A lot of thought and care has obviously gone into it.My compliments to all those involved. Amazing service, personable, polite and helpful. Good food. Lovely setting. I loved the salad. Big Yorkshire puds. Really good gravy and they gave us extra when we asked!

Spontaneous lunch on a long journey! What a pleasant find. The server was friendly, thoughtful and polite, the locals were helpful and it feels as though they have thought of everything where ever you go in the building.The food was delicious and catering for gluten free was an easy and smooth transaction, that was thoroughly appreciated!I feel this will be a regular for us from now on. Thank you very much guys.
