The White Hart in South Somerset

I had the roast beef Sunday dinner today and was an amazing meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend. Great place and great staff

Absolutely fantastic!My husband reserved a table for lunch to celebrate our 25th anniversary today (24.05.2022).The staff were really welcoming, the decor is lovely.The food was really good, we had as a starter the devilled mushroom (bit spicy but not too much) then a vegetable terrine & burger (husband) for main. We were satisfied after that and we couldn’t unfortunately taste the puddings.I really recommend this place and we will be coming back very soon.Thank you to the kitchen & in house staff, you did make our day.Rosenn & Christopher Young.

I was really surprised in a good way, by the charm of the White Hart, the interior is very lovely and the layout of the pub/inn really stimulates the imagination.The rooms are amazingly lush and tastefull i had a room with bath and felt like a King!I could go on a while, but one last thing i must add is the location, Somerton, this is a really lovely townI sincerly recommend people to visit!

Great Pub with a wide selection of food and beverages. Very good location and very easy to park nearby. Highly recommended for eating out.

Always enjoy our visits, we use The White Hart as a stop over on our way to the West Country.Dog friendly, great overnight sleep bookended by wonderful food.Staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Absolutely amazing stay here, really good nights sleep comfortable bed, luxury bathroom products and towels. Lovely tea and coffee in room. Extremely clean.Friendly helpful staff, lovely dinner and breakfast.Highly recommend this place .

Had a fantastic lunch with three friends on Thursday. Superb house wine, fabulous steaks and great service.Will definitely return.

My husband and I have now stayed at all 5 hotels in this exceptional group. How on earth they manage to have excellent attentive staff in every hotel and exceptional food is extraordinary. The White Hart is no exception. I enjoyed their Vegan options (although I happily try everything!) and my husband enjoyed the meat dishes this time around. We stayed the weekend and their breakfasts are equally delicious. Thoughtful touches throughout from their uniquely fun interiors to the warm greeting when we first arrived. This company purports to be ‘original’ and they are definitely succeeding. We look forward to their 6th hotel and we will definitely enjoy revisiting their others. Well done to a first class team.

Lovely find on a long weekend away with friends. The place was clean, warm and very welcoming. The staff encountered were all friendly and helpful, no query was too much trouble for them. Most importantly, the food was delicious!!
