Virginia Ash in South Somerset

Went here for a Supercar meet for the first time yesterday, a lovely pub both inside and out, will definitely return for a meal soon! Friendly staff and a great atmosphere on the day :)

Too long to wait for just about average ham,egg and chips.(£12). Lunch time on Tuesday,quite a few people in,but the wait was unacceptable and I have had better h,e and c for less money. Informed the young lady at the bar,I was disappointed,but got no real response. Other meal was a panini which was ok.

The roast was lovely. The poor waitresses were run off their feet though. They need more staff for sure

Had a lovely tasty meal and the staff were so friendly. Will certainly go there again.

We experienced friendly helpful service, and ate from the lunch menu. All our dishes were fresh, hot and polished off with no fuss. A good stop on the road.

Nice pub, good interior, plenty of seating and pleasant staff. However at £12 for Ham Egg and Chips it was pretty standard.

Had lunch there today qirh my partner and inlaws lovely service, polite and courteous. Amazing food will definitely be back soon.

Visited on 3 or 4 occasions food has always been 1st class. Had a lovely time tonight celebrating my daughters 16th . Welcome, service, food 1st class. Definitely returning and recommending.

Truly delicious Sunday lunch, even late afternoon as that was our visit time. Excellent quality Palmers ale. Perfect service from a lovely local lady too. Full marks!
