Amalfi in Stroud

Dined here this evening with a colleague. The experience was exceptional. From the welcome to the end of the night. We couldn't fault anything. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with explaining all of the specials on offer. We decided to share the mixed meat starter, followed by having the lobster with black tagliatelle and scallops, which was delicious. The chocolate salami for desert was amazing. The finishing touch of a lemoncelo with the bill was very welcome. If you are looking for a lovely meal out in a special restaurant with great service, then look no further. I highly recommend visiting here.

Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant located in the beautiful green scenery of Nailsworth. The pasta dishes were amazing and the tiramisu was dreamy. The cherry on top was the limoncello on the house at the end of the night! A bit on the pricey side, but entirely worth it!

I had mushrooms ravioli and the vegetarian pizza which I thoroughly enjoyed, absolutely delicious, my husband had a taste of mine and the dreamy face said it all 😋He had Carpaccio and said he couldn't taste the meat because it was too cold it needed to be room temperature, followed by Breaded veal and spaghetti, he said it was (confusingly) bland and too herby - veal bland, spaghetti too herby. He does this every time, always says mine tastes better than his 😱 I'm ordering for him next time 😆

Had a pre Valentines meal here with my partner, amazing food and atmosphere, well priced and great staff!

Wonderful Italian in Nailsworth. Traditional Italian food with their own family twist. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back.The pizzas were great, but the tiramisu is a must.

Authentic family owned restaurant with incredible service and amazing food! Julia our host was energetic fun and chatty. The history of the restaurant is everything you want and the fact it's their mum in the kitchen cooking really puts the cherry on top! Highly recommend the seafood linguine, so different to recipes I've had in the past but no doubt better. This little restaurant will certainly have me visiting Stroud again!

We came here for lunch today and were blown away. Great customer service, delicious mouth watering food and well priced. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent first time experience and we will definitely be revisiting.
