Considering the restaurant was nearly fully booked, constant stream of people coming in to collect orders for takeaway, being extremely short staffed (two waiters for the whole restaurant and down a delivery driver) we were served with polite, professional and courteous staff. Our food was delicious and when we couldn't finish, it was packed up nicely to take home. Many many thanks to Ayman who was an absolute pleasure to meet and witness thrive in his role despite obviously having to work at a demanding pace.

Went in as passing by and thought we would try it, lovely food and our server Ayman was very helpful to offer his suggestions to my other half, would definitely recommend and would go back without a doubt

Fantastic curry but some serious questions over the service which was all a bit haphazard as well as a strong possibility that I was deliberately overcharged. I think they saw two blokes and assumed we would be too drunk to notice (we weren't) . Actually I was just too embarrassed to question the incorrect bill again after it had supposedly been corrected once. I'll consider it a (very) generous tip!

This is a great Indian restaurant which provides great quality food. Our meal was cooked well and full of gorgeous flavours and completely filled us. The one who looked after us was called Ali and gave us a free drink shot. Was a great evening and definitely recommend 👌

Ordered a takeway, 3 items missing. Rang and was told I would have to wait an hour as they were busy. Said not acceptable as the food that was already delivered would be cold. Asked for refund and told no - I could have a bottle of coke instead. I said not acceptable and phone put down on me. They did turn up with one of the missing items but still missing the 2 x sauce dishes so gave it back to the delivery lady to take back. I rang again to explain and was accused of throwing the food at the delivery lady which was not true and confirmed by the delivery lady. Sent an email to the Manager and rang again. The delivery lady came back around 9.30pm to return my money but no apology from the Manager. Shocking and upsetting experience.

We are staying in Painswick for the Weekend and decided to get a takeaway. So all we had was the postcode of where we were staying and absolutely no idea of the area. The food arrived later than planned but was hot and absolutely delicious. Trying to deliver in the dark with very vague directions, I’ve nothing but praise for the people at Spice Lounge. The portion sizes were excellent and I found the cost to be very reasonable for the meal. Will certainly use Spice Lounge again if we are in the area but Kent’s loss is the Cotswolds gain.

The manager 'Ali' reminds me of Mr Ben (if you are old enough to remember); he's the waiter, chief chef, delivery man, and he dies it all with ease and a smile (with support of his team of course). He can walk you through the menu and give you exciting recommendations, but by far the best are those dishes served sizzling on the skillets - really banging flavours! A lovely meal in a comfortable environment, would go again and recommend.

Very unwelcoming, appalling service and did not refer to the booking. Tried to get us to order without all the party being present. When drinks arrived they were delivered to the end of the table expecting it to be oast down. There were only 8 of us. At the end they then informed us the card machine was not working cash only. Members of the party had to get cash out if cash points. No one in the restaurant had been informed at the start. Looks like cash off the books. All ended up with upset stomachs. Will not return.

We ate the best indian ever. Jalfrezi was superb, excellent flavours, special rice amazing, chilli naan was crispy and thin crust, truly wonderful, Dansak was really nice, perfect amount of spice, so lovely. If you haven't noticed, we can't compliment this place enough.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. On a Wednesday their set menu of 4 courses was only £13.95 which was great value for the quality of the food.Inside it was a bit quiet but the staff were very attentive and the restaurant itself had a nice interior. Food quality was fantastic with every dish tasting amazing!
