Britannia Inn in Stroud

Nice clean pub, clean beer pipes (I can tell you know!), pretty garden. Didn't eat so can only mark on the beer aspect!

Visited last Friday lunchtime, and had the braised lamb with bubble and squeak, fried egg and lamps lettuce. All I can say is that it was delightful. Would certainly recommend any will be visiting again real soon

Just had lunch at the Brit. and it was superb! Had the Sunday roast beef, which was very tender, with a good choice of vegetables that were all excellent -cooked just right and full of flavour. As good a roast lunch as I can remember having.

The food was amazing! Loved the restaurant and I would like to return! The 4/5 was because of the delay in getting drinks .. a minor issue but we did have to call them to remind them of our order!

Terrible service. Came in, approached the bar and was told to take a seat and someone would come to take our order. After 20 mind of watching staff kick their heels looking clueless nobody did bother to take our order so we went elsewhere.

Went in for some food, sat in a not even half full restaurant to be told by a waitress that they were fully booked although it was half past 2 on a Sunday! Most tables not even full, parties of 2-3 sat on tables for 6!Told we could return in half hour or so, sorry, who eats a meal in less than half an hour.Probably more the fact me and my partner didn’t fit in with the snooty aesthetics of the venue.Won’t be returning..

Great dinner. Highly recommend. Pete was so lovely and was so helpful.During such a busy period, they handled the craziness well.

Beautiful and rustic pub. Friendly and helpful staff. The pizza i had for lunch was one of the best and the burger looked mouth watering good.
