A real community pub with something for the local community on most mornings. We were staying locally and called in the evening for a bite to eat. Not a very extensive menu but enough to satisfy the hungry traveller and all well cooked and delicious. The place on a wet Tuesday night was empty but the staff found the time to come and chat with us to make us feel welcome. I must add the beer garden, with the best views of Stroud and beyond. We couldn't take advantage of it due to the weather. A gem of a proper pub and restaurant and well worth seeking out.

We came here after googling best beer gardens in Stroud and after seeing this place and it's isolated, elevated position we were in! The beer garden is quaint and has the most wonderful views. Facilities for kids to play and lots of nice dogs pottering around. The pub was charming and authentic. The food was great, fantastic range of ciders, ales and the like and the staff were positively affable, charming and genuine. A memorable experience, thanks! (Special shout out to Sammy).

A fabulous pub!! The food is excellent. Great selection of beers, wines etc, and the view is to die for. The two pub dogs, Bella and Boris are lovely and friendly, and the staff are fab. I highly recommend this pub.

One of the best pubs in the Cotswolds. The views are stunning and the staff are very friendly. There's a large selection of drinks from ales, ciders and lagers to wines and spirits. We always enjoy coming here for family meals, date nights and evenings with friends.
