Clothiers Arms in Stroud

Family of four, stayed in the Fromehall suite. A good price with breakfast. Pleasant pub, also enjoyed an evening meal where the kids cleared their plates.

Great meal as always lovely Sunday lunch washed down with a good pint of Ale

Decent food, really nice selection. Redhead and young waitress were lovely, blonde bar lady didn't seem happy to be there. But nobody's perfect, everyone has an off day, it won't stop us eating there again!

We dined in and had an excellent lunch! I had the lasagna and my wife had the gammon steak with egg and mushrooms. Both were served hot and were perfect sizes. Prices were very reasonable and the staff were friendly. This restaurant/pub is not far from where we stay so it may be a new favorite spot!

Great pub, fantastic staff, the food was great and we watched the rugby on the TV without any compromise to our view. We had a marvellous afternoon and it was great to see that so many dogs were present in the pub

Saturday 12th March 2022I stopped at this real ale hotel for the night after watching the mighty bantams thrash the vegans at footballThis hotel real ale pub not only served great hand pumped ales but also was a ,propper village local atmosphere, with great hosts and local following and the rooms were very good value

We stayed here for a weekend whilst visiting Stroud with friends. The staff are really welcoming and checked us in very quickly and took us to rooms upstairs.Room was quite spacious with ensuite with shower. Good night sleep so bed was obviously good.The breakfast is served 8 to 10am and you can just show up rather than pre-book. The scrambled eggs on toast was delicious, but full English also available.The bar was a little cold but they served a great pint of Butcombe which made up for the chill.

Stayed in one of there rooms for the night was clean tidy and welcoming. Staff was friendly and welcoming even the en suite bathroom was clean and tidy my only problem was at about 3-4am I felt the cold as there was no heating that came on to warm the room up Same with the en suite bathroom it was really cold well getting up at that time of the morning to use the bathroom but apart from that it was a very good room and worth the money I would highly recommend it too any one but some appovements is need round the heating of the rooms and en suite bathrooms but great night sleep bed was comfortable would stay again if heating was sorted no one likes to feel the cold but great place to stay. Very little noise from bar downstair all in all great night stay thank u

Brilliant pub. One of the best in the area. Good food made with quality ingredients and without skimping on the expensive bits. Sensible prices, friendly staff - I can't think of a single complaint in over ten years of eating/drinking here. Highly recommended
