Curio Lounge in Stroud

Absolutely incomptenent stuff. I went there and ordered two double espressos to take away, first a girl at the till tried to overcharge me, then there were three guys at the coffee machine just chatting away, so it took them over 10 minutes to even get around to my order, I asked to get my money back as I had a train to catch, everything took them so long that I had to leave without either coffee or money. Terrible experience.

Have to say this is the best place in Stroud. Each and every member of staff is friendly, efficient, polite. We usually only have a coffee, sometimes a bacon sandwich. The quality and quantity is always good. Lots of room upstairs, plus they let you take your dog. They even make them feel as welcome as us. Keep up the excellent work. A lot of other places in Stroud could learn from you.

It's lovely here! The food is tasty and arrives quickly. There's lots of seating so you don't have to wait during the day. Only thing I would say is that there are often lots of smokers by the door which makes the downstairs area a bit smokey. Sit upstairs if you want to avoid.

Good food, inventive menu, good service. Large venue also with seating upstairs. Nice to sit outdoors when warm enough as the street is pedestrianised so no traffic fumes or noise. Only downside for me is quite loud music which makes conversation difficult. Requests to turn it down have sometimes been denied.

Great venue for a light bite, drink or full meal. Plenty of choice. Good ambience, relaxed and prices fair. Best cafe/bar in Stroud.

Really enjoy visiting this place. Good menu to include a variety of gluten free & vegan options, which is refreshing. Relaxed ambiance & friendly staff, food was great too!

Quaint yet quirky with a light hint of industrial, with a fabulous ambiance, so much to see, incredible styling. The service was efficient and very friendly. The Merlot I had was full bodied and bulging with fruit. The loos are spotless. Make sure you look upstairs for a very interesting experience. Don't miss this gem in Stroud, we will definitely visit next time we are in Stroud.

An entirely separate gluten free menu. And it is extensive! One of the cooks came out to ask us many questions to make sure he knew the dietary needs. Really good GF buttermilk fried chicken, or a sandwich made with it on a gluten free bun. They have tapas too. We have been twice and had great experiences both times. So nice to be able to take our daughter, who had celiac, out to eat without stress. Thanks Curio Lounge. Truly appreciated

A late lunch with a friend whilst visiting Stoud. We went for the NYC Deli Burger and coca-cola. Most enjoyable would definitely visit again. The staff were pleasant and their COVID procedure were not overly bearing. You simply scan the NHS QR code on entering, the choose a table and when ready to order scan the QR code on the table talker and select what food and drinks you want and pay…
