An excellent visit this time, now refurbished and opened from November 2021. Great food, an excellent veg soup, good beets, wines and ambiance. A lovely young lady served us, the star of the advertising.

Fantastic roast for a birthday. The staff were great and attentive, and we had a wonderful time. It helps they are situated in Painswick a most beautiful village. A perfect day. Thanks everyone.

Rosemary -the voice of the business - is an amazing host and with the rest of the staff -whom all are incredibly friendly, professional and efficient- running an absolutely beautiful hotel / restaurant! Our room overlooked the church and it was incredibly tastefully decorated , spacious, comfortable! The dinner in the restaurant was one of the best meals we ever had in the UK and it was very busy despite being a Tuesday and stormy weather,so you must book a table even if you don't stay at the inn you should come and eat here! breakfast was just as good as dinner plentiful and delicious! Overall this place is a must when in Painswick or not, it's worth to travel to! Simply perfect and we will be back!

Such a great stay. Beautiful rooms, great atmosphere, wonderful people working there and a great breakfast every morning. Dinner on Saturday was truly special and the location is just stunning.

The welcome from Francois, Rosemary and their staff was so welcoming. My room was fabulous - really spacious and beautifully decorated although I think it could do with a couple more lamps for applying make up! The bed was so comfortable, bathroom gorgeous and breakfast was amazing! A real gem of a place - it should be on everyone’s list to go to! Thanks to all at the Falcon for a fabulous stay. Ali

We spent a weekend at the Falcon Inn - the place is an absolute gem. We loved the beautifully designed rooms, attention to detail and delicious food both at breakfast and dinner (food was so good we came back for more!). Last but by no means least, we felt very well looked after by the lovely, attentive staff who are a real asset to the Falcon Inn.

Very comfortable room (nice touch, real milk in a jug, no plastic pots!). Food excellent, everything so delicious - Chateau Briand amazing. Another nice touch, butter you can actually spread, not rock hard from the fridge. Staff exemplary, friendly, helpful and create a lovely atmosphere. Thanks for a terrific stay.

Lunch was very good indeed. Mushrooms with artichokes and broccoli and stilton soup with sourdough bread, then steak and fish & chips were all excellent. Real ales too. Service was charming. Thank you.

New management since Nov 2020. We had the 12 hour slow cooked beef sunday lunch, superbly done and good service. Good example of a restarant that keeps to a sensible number of items on the menu but does them all very well. Great atmosphere but I'd make background music a little more sophisticated :)

What a great place! Food is absolutely amazing, popped in for a quick drink lunch time, saw and smelt the food, it was so damn good that we booked an evening meal. Just one word to sum it up...YUM!
