Lauren our waitress was fantastic and really accommodating and friendly. Food was good and cooked as asked for. The front of the pub has good pushchair access to the side of the steps which helped. Enjoyed our evening out and would go back again.

We popped in today for a family meal.We received a warm welcome from Craig and the team and excellent service. My 2 girls were particularly impressed with Craig and his kindness.The menu had great variety and our food was fantastic! Everything arrived fresh, well presented and within a timely manner. The portions were generous too.This is a real gem of a pub and we're fortunate to be local! 😊We will definitely be returning!Well done guys, keep up the good work! 🤩

Better than it has been. Low lighting and a nice atmosphere. Food freshly cooked. It looks like the grumpy old staff have moved on. Shame they don't sell any nice local beer.

5 of us came to the pub on Christmas Day 2021 for Christmas Dinner. And what a lovely Christmas Day it was too. We were made very welcome. A lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent. Thank you so much for giving us a memorable Christmas Day xx

Absolutely smashing.Been here twice in 3 weeks for a birthday and Xmas Dinner. Did not disappoint. New owners are amazing.Very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely family meal. Will not hesitate to recommend to anyone.Bad reviews in the past. IGNORE . These guys have it all under control. Thankyou for your service, you know who you are. Had a lovely meal here with my daughter about a fortnight ago. She had lasagne whilst I had Hunters chicken. Both meals were lovely and at £13.49 for the two meals, very reasonable.Craig was waiting and was very attentive.Sarah was very friendly when we arrived and found us a table in the restaurant even though we hadn't booked.Lovely experience and the best pub meal I have had for a while. Thoroughly recommend!

Me and my family had a meal on the 1st Dec and the table service was just great. The food was hot and very tasty and quick service. I wish the new landlady and her husband good luck.. I would totally recommend this pub/restaurant xx

Lovely pub and staff. Very friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic. Great price too. Pity we live in Wolverhampton otherwise we would definitely visit regularly. We will be back.

Service and food was really good, and very surprised how reasonable to cost of the food was.Very friendly and welcoming staff at the pub/restaurant and the food seemed fresh and well cooked.Super child/family friendly, as they made my daughter feel very welcome and relaxed.The pub/restaurant was nicely decorated and clean/tidy inside which was lovely to see.Will definitely be going back to try a Sunday Roast

Very poor overall. Restaurant had about 6 people in it (in 3 groups) when we were here, yet waited 45 minutes for starters. Had to wait another 30 minutes or so for the main course. No apologies and had to chase the manager as to where our food was. No apologies again when the food was brought out. We weren't alone in this however, others were also asking. When food arrived it was very plain and dry. Clearly had been under a heat lamp for a while.There was an old couple sitting near us also who waited nearly 40 minutes to have their order taken. Bare in mind the restaurant at this point wasn't busy.If there's going to be a wait then fair enough, however this needs to be communicated and it wasn't.Won't be going there again. 1 star is generous.
