I had the roast beef meal which was well presented on the plate and was very tasty unfortunately the meal was luke warm and I prefer a hot meal. The vegetables were tasty but not done enough for me but that is a personal to me.The treacle tart desert was very nice but I was expecting more on the plate but again well presented but I thought a little expensive for what was actually in the plate. It is very well laid out and clean, the staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to please. Service was excellent and quick.

Great pub. They always serve good food. The staff are welcoming, and the atmosphere is always friendly. Little touches like putting sanitary ware in the ladies, board games available for children, and having water bowls for dogs are all welcome additions.

Lovely country pub with good food. Good range of ales and cider. Good clean toilets. Smallish car park. Some parking on road. An enjoyable visit.

It's nice inside. Staff were good. It was busy and the wait was not bad for a Saturday lunchtime. Had the fish and chips. It initially looked good, but realised it was mostly batter and not much fish. Chips were standard chunky oven chips and it included a small thimble of mushy peas. The batter had herbs in it, which I did not enjoy. I was hungry at the start, but halfway through I was done. I could not eat all of it. When you order fish and chips somewhere that is not a chip shop you would hope it is a bit special. This was underwhelming. But, it was fish, and it was chips.
