Old Passage Inn in Stroud

A lovely place for lunch near the river. Staff were very accomodating and helpful. Slightly limited menu choices for a Monday lunch, but the food was excellent.

Love this place, excellent starting point for walk along the banks of the Severn finished with coffee and best scrambled eggs I've ever had.

Haven't visited for over 15 yes, since it was a specialist fish restaurant. Now, a more relaxed dining experience but don't be put off by the standard menu, the quality of the food was exceptional. There were 6 of us plus a boisterous black Labrador and we all had exceptional food and service.We won't be leaving it another 15 yes before we visit again.

The Old Passage Inn is superb in every respect. Eating. Sleeping. Hospitality. Location. If you're looking for somewhere for some quality R and R then this is the place. Dogs are as welcome as humans.

What a wonderful place, amazing food, beautiful ice cream and a stunning view of the River Severn and Newnham on the other side, the church bells even rang while we were enjoying our ice cream on the river bank! Thank you for the wonderful food and service.

Just had a lovely lunch with cousins at The Old Passage Inn. As always we were made to feel very welcome. My mushroom tagliatelle was the best I've ever had.

Very tasty decaff Americano with a great Severn view. Fire on inside, very cosy. Friendly staff, clean toilet. All around great pitstop on our cycle

Stopped for a lovely lunch while doing a 5 hour (20k) circular walk from Saul junction around the horseshoe loop. Owners were very helpful and even gave the dog a few biscuits!We discovered that dogs are allowed inside but we chose to stay in the garden as we were quite muddy. Plenty of room inside without COVID concerns. Would recommend and will visit again soon.
