Had lunch at The Old Spot with friends. This is a traditional pub with great atmosphere and friendly staff. We all had either scampi and chips or beef pie and chips and the food was excellent.

A real pub. Very friendly. Good selection of hand pump beers but no hand pump cider unfortunately. A must for real beer drinkers.

UPDATE 04/2022: Sadly my review below no longer stands. The excellent chef/cook has obviously moved on and the food has returned to not only what it was before but has deteriorated. It was also quite empty so it's losing custom. The Old Spot has really upped its game with its food. It remains a nice pub with a good bar and staff but the kitchen is definitely offering a more discerning menu.

We found this pub in lockdown last year and were made really welcome in their outdoor area even though we hadn’t booked !We revisited yesterday for Sunday lunch, four of us complete with three dogs.Staff were amazing so friendly they made such a fuss of the dogs bringing out water and to my amazement a bowl of meat for them !Sunday lunch was brilliant the meat was beautiful and we were very impressed with the generous portions of vegetables, The leeks and cheese sauce was to die for😀We will definitely be returning to this lovely traditional pub has it has the most welcoming atmosphere …… I think Enzo will definitely want to return too for lunch of course😀

This is a gem of a pub on the Cotswold Way. Friendly, good food and great beer. Real Ales on cask. The Old Ric, (brewed in the nearby village of Uley) is the best I’ve had along the Way. Do yourself a favor and stop in if you’re passing through the village of Dursley.

Busy (a good sign), delicious beer, friendly prompt service. I'm assured (and believe) it's the best pub in Dursley. I'll definitely be visiting again

Came here for lunch after a walk, really lovely pub, warm and inviting. One of the waitresses who worked there ( I don't know her name, unfortunately) was simply delightful! She offered meat to my dates dog, who after a long walk was starving and enjoyed his lunch - on the house! We ordered a meat platter which was beautifully presented. The service was prompt and efficient, our waitress couldn't do enough.I believe in writing good reviews if the service is expectional, and it was!Lovely pub, highly reccomend.

An interesting pub. Very clean and fresh. Pleasantly busy. A very old pub but in first class condition. A good range of beers, not bad prices. Anywhere that serves Thatchers Haze is in my good books! I was there at lunchtime time, and I had a well priced tasty meal. Service was excellent, very friendly. I will look forward to going back.

Amazing Sunday roast with all the trimmings! Generous portion sizes as expected from a proper pub roast! Big beer bargain perfect for soaking up the sun and friendly staff following all of the COVID precautions.
