Great food, amazing and friendly service… really enjoyed our evening here, thank you!

Hoping to get something to eat but the chef was on a week's holiday so just had a pint and a packet of crisps. The beer was good and the staff friendly. I hope to call again again in the future to try the food as I think that it will be quite good.

Excellent friendly service and got to try both the garden feast pizza and the smoked beans chilli; quite good and pints on little is lovely

Beer garden was just, alright. The inside seemed quite dull and tired. The waiter at the time was catering to a party of 10 wedding party. He seemed either really new or really demotivated/confused. We'd pre-ordered a whole menu but they seemed to have forgotten that and handed us All menus to then take the menus back in apology. Most of the wording from the waiter were riddled with "I think", "I'm not sure", "I believe so". Didn't seem to fully know what was going on which is a shame as he may have just been new.Either way having 1 person wait a table of 10 was pretty cumbersome seemingly. The food came out similar timing wise but it seemed to achieve this most it hadn't been cooked. The general consensus was that the beef was just rock hard and over cooked, the stuffing wasn't cooked at all and the plates were cold anyway. Seemingly in an attempt to coordinate it. The bacon on the bacon burger was very undercooked. Barely out of the fridge. The burger itself was very underdone which is obviously a preference thing I suppose. The chips and sausages were fine so they got the basics down. There seemed to be no actual empathy shown. The waiter would just walk off and mutter "sorry about that" over his shoulder in a very non chalant uncaring way. We figured being that it was quite dead we'd have the utmost best cooking and attention given but it wasn't the case. Seemed we got the flipside of it was very quiet so we almost had inconvenienced them with our big party. The bill was around 150 but we had so many dishes unfinished and a couple barely touched that they knocked 50 quid off the bill. Which is something I suppose. Only because one of our more brash and vocal party members somewhat demanded it.Overall a massive shame and cannot recommend this place to anyone for dining in, especially in a big party. They seem like a local that know how to pull a pint and do your bog standard bangers and mash but that's about it.

We love our Sunday Roasts here but this week came for Eat Out to Help Out. I went big and had the mixed grill. Absolutely superb. My partner had the Bacon, Cheese Burger and she was stuffed too. So much food. Booked in for next week now as well.

Always been my "local" going back more regularly now. New owners doing a cracking job. Made to feel welcome, decent pub grub, comfy restaurant area and nice enclosed garden.

Had a lovely meal at The Prince Of Wales last night. We were a table of four guests, we had a great service and lovely food. The pub has a warm, friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent. The price of a pink of doom bar £3.00 which my hubby thought was great. My sister and I shared Prosecco at £14.95 a bottle which we thought was great value and it was really nice. Keep up the good work guys 😊

Heard there was new owners and what not so decided to give it a go. Website claims they do roasts and a full menu on a Sunday but they actually do roasts and a restricted Sunday menu. My lasagne was obviously a ready meal that had been decanted into a dish and some cheese added. My partners fish and chips looked of a better standard though. We didn’t bother with desserts. Prices not too bad but won’t be rushing back sadly.

Warm welcome, comfortable table in quiet corner. Drinks came promptly, then suitable pause while our food was freshly cooked. We had one portion of whitebait, quite enough for two and very tasty. Then steak pie/scampi - tasty and generous portions. All good - we will be back.
