·

Lovely views, good tea & homemade cakes. Few places open on Sundays so a good place to go after lunch and a pleasant drive. Hope they'll extend opening hours to 5pm in future, as before.

·

Love the cafe. Lots of home-made cakes too. Love the cafe shop. Great gifts and bookshop. Then off for a lovely walk in the Monastery Gardens.

·

Love this coffee shop/cafe. Cosy. Food excellent all home made. Incline from carpark to cafe but wheelchair friendly. Some outside seating.

·

Nice food .. found coffee a little bitter .Nice soothing monastic music playing in back ground .

·

Rather tired and dated looking place. Service was slow but friendly once the staff stopped talking to each other... Food was ok but I wouldn't rush to go back.

·

After a 2 mile walk it was lovely to sit outside here and enjoy the quiet. Our tea and cheese scones were nicely presented - with a proper teapot and cups+saucers. Cheese scone was slightly warm, so the butter melted into it..... What's not to like? 10/10 for COVID-safe. And then it was a 2 mile walk back home.... We'll be back!Update 3Sep21: We keep going back and enjoying the wonderful cakes they keep putting in front of us. It's becoming a bit of a habit... But the coffee and walnut cake was absolutely delicious.

·

Always enjoy my days here. Thank you to Penny and the other staff for making my visit a wonderful experience. So attentive! Great service! Great refreshment selection too. Amazing range of quality gifts and books.
