Rajdoot in Stroud

Place was lovely & clean. Food was very tasty. Waiting time & service from entering at 6:20pm to ordering meal & food arriving 7:55pm disgraceful. Attitude of head of house server left a sour taste for me. He wanted us to order our meal before we had time to look at their extensive menu. When he did finally return to take our order, he abruptly said "You weren't ready when I asked before" That was over an hour earlier. I won't be going back.

Awful experience, ordered starters, plates took 45 minutes to be cleared, after also ordering main dishes—after 1 hour post ordering I was told one of the dishes wasn’t available with no communication prior to this. Asked to speak to the manager and they walked away from me, not listening or acknowledging me on my complaint. Would not reconvened

Ordered food through just eat had not come within the given time called the restaurant only to be told food was on its way, 45 mins later still not arrived and only live less than 10 mins away from restaurant, called them back asking for a refund only to be told that had to ask just eat, absolutely rubbish customer service no apology whatsoever!!!! Steer clear if you are hungry...

Cancelled my delivery after waiting over an hour. Was saying that they were due to arrive in 10 mins then just cancelled. disgusting service, just disgusting. Why accept the order in the first place????

The food was delicious. The service wasn't. We were asked before we could look at their extensive menu, what we wanted. When we were ready we were told they'd be back in 2 minutes. (That happened twice) on the third time the waiter said, rather abruptly, "I asked you before and you said you weren't ready" Had it just have been the two of us, we would have walked out.

Very enjoyable pre-movie dinner for two. The recommended dishes were delicious, service was perfect and food came quickly. Also not too busy on Sunday evening. Definitely will go again for a longer dinner!

Just wonderful. Staff were very helpful, had some good advice and fun too!! Food was tender and full of flavour so thank you to all at Radjoot..

Let's be honest here, Rajdoot is the longest serving Indian in stroud, there is a reason for that.The food is by far the best in stroud.The restaurant is absolutely spotlessThe staff couldn't do enough for you.I've been using Radjoot for over 15 years.Yes of course I've tried the others as we all sometimes like to have a change but once tried you realise you already have the best one in the line up.Thanks guys for always serving the best food.5☆

Food was good, service was shocking(the waiter we had was really rude and unprofessional). Was very disappointed. Very claustrophobic and if you get a seat by the kitchen all you can hear is the waiters smacking the food trolley against the doors constantly. Will never be going back here again.

Very good main course, Ordered Chicken Madras which had authentic taste. chicken in starter was a bit off hence 4 stars
