Saffron in Stroud

Don't bother with spice lounge, delivery's are always late and food is very average. I've given them the benefit of the doubt for so long but now I give up. You've just lost a good customer.

Came here with my familyService is terribly slow , food was dreadful. Full of sugar and oil and generally inedible. When we were asked how everything was and we responded we got the standard response" everyone else likes it"We have eaten Indian food all over the world including Kerala and GoaAnd this has been our worst experience

First time to this restaurant, friendly attentive staff, food was very tasty and served hot so well worth a visit.

Food was packed with sugar and vegetable oil and had no depth in flavour. We won’t be back again. Very disappointed

I have my best friend from my youth visiting from the USA and she, my daughter and I wanted to enjoy a delicious, traditional curry dinner! We thought we would try the new Spice Lounge and are happy to say it was a fantastic experience!! The decor is soft and elegant, our welcome from our host, Ayman, was warm and inviting, and nothing was too much trouble,; we had the best service and felt very cared for!! And the cuisine was generous and not only appealingly pleasing to the eye, but the auroma and flavours were sensational!! We've found our new favourite curry house and will be new regulars!!!

Considering the restaurant was nearly fully booked, constant stream of people coming in to collect orders for takeaway, being extremely short staffed (two waiters for the whole restaurant and down a delivery driver) we were served with polite, professional and courteous staff. Our food was delicious and when we couldn't finish, it was packed up nicely to take home. Many many thanks to Ayman who was an absolute pleasure to meet and witness thrive in his role despite obviously having to work at a demanding pace.

Went in as passing by and thought we would try it, lovely food and our server Ayman was very helpful to offer his suggestions to my other half, would definitely recommend and would go back without a doubt

Fantastic curry but some serious questions over the service which was all a bit haphazard as well as a strong possibility that I was deliberately overcharged. I think they saw two blokes and assumed we would be too drunk to notice (we weren't) . Actually I was just too embarrassed to question the incorrect bill again after it had supposedly been corrected once. I'll consider it a (very) generous tip!

We ate the best indian ever. Jalfrezi was superb, excellent flavours, special rice amazing, chilli naan was crispy and thin crust, truly wonderful, Dansak was really nice, perfect amount of spice, so lovely. If you haven't noticed, we can't compliment this place enough.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. On a Wednesday their set menu of 4 courses was only £13.95 which was great value for the quality of the food.Inside it was a bit quiet but the staff were very attentive and the restaurant itself had a nice interior. Food quality was fantastic with every dish tasting amazing!
