Asked for a large chips costing 3.70 and they filled half a 1 litre jug up. I questioned them and asked if that was a large chips and he said yes it is. Shocking!!

Good fish/chip shop but takes cash only. Worth a visit

Terrible …. Chips tasted stale, like that they were last nights unsold chips warmed back up, chicken pie was barely warm, never again !!! Very very poor and I’ve never had chips that tasted this bad before, not even fit to give to our dogs and put straight into the bin

Well worth a visit very large portions went down well sat on the common in the sun

Enjoyed lovely gluten free fish and chips. The portion size was large and the staff were really friendly. I would highly recommend Simply Fish and Chips, especially if you are looking for somewhere that caters for gluten free or vegan dietary requirements.

Chips are superb. would recommend to everybody. Lots of choice on the menu. Friendly service. Best fish and chip shop I've been to for a very long time. Definitely worth a travel.

Way over priced. Chips and the fish were separate, £2:40 for reg chips and £5:60 for fish. Both come greasy as heck in paper which after literally opening five minutes later it was stuck together/soaked, so was eating paper with it because it doesn't come in any sort of tray. Condiments were also more money which should be free with the over-priced food. Went and got sauce from shop next door, as at least you can use it at home too.Will not be returning.

Very poor quality.fish was just plonked on top of chips so by the time I got it home I couldn't separate it.so we ended up with apile of mixed up fish and chips. Not a very apperticing sight. Also my husband and I both had upset stomachs that night. For what we had it was overpriced. We will not be going back.
