·

Good selection of craft beer and they have bar billiards.

Visited here for the first time in a while yesterday. Sad to say that despite the sign outside advertising "a wide range of quality ales", this is still the PALE Ale House. If you're partial to an amber ale, this is not the place for you.

·

I visited rhis brilliant real ale pub in Stroud on Saturday 12th March 2022This great real ale bar has 12 real ales on hand pumped and not many of them are boting run of the mill real ales which are well worth a sampleThis pub had great local people in it and a good landlord in it with a nice interior to it on my bisit well worth a visit for real ales on my visit

·

Excellent choice of drinks, incredible atmosphere and a bunch of cozy seats An exemplary pub.

·

Best pub in Stroud by a country mile. Always provides delicious ales, ciders and wholesome food at a fair price. Whenever I visit I feel like I've come home. I wish it could be more often.

·

Better selection of ciders than previously, nice wine selection and a very tasty mushroom stroganoff. Decent value for money. We will return.

·

Nice choice of ales and beers. Reasonably priced. Surprisingly varied menu. 4 of us had 3 different things and everyone thought it was great value and tasted great.

·

Fantastic range of ales and the curry was delicious. Dylan the bar man was very friendly and helpful too. We enjoyed playing billiards (badly), would recommend The Ale House.

·

Wonderful ale house. It has the best selection of beer you could imagine. Literally something for everyone. Good that they serve 1/3 pints so you can try lots of different beers. If I'm ever back in Stroud I will make sure this is top of the itinerary. Brilliant

Nice place , good Ale choice ( I should hope so with a name like this ! ) rather pricey at £ 10.50 for 2 halfs of ( standard strength ) ale & a G & T ! ( Its Stroud not London ) .We went when Stroud Wassail was on & a full pub with 20 or so Morris dancers signing & playing made it a fantastic atmosphere .
