In the area for one evening, found this amazing chip shop. Huge portions, very good value and very friendly owners. Would have liked a wooden chip fork but that’s just a personal preference when eating mushy peas 😊

Why the chips are soggy is because they there put them in a plastic bag but a great chips and fish no longer puts them in plastic bags

This has to be the best fish and chips in stroud. Always really good quality, large portions no matter what size you ask for. Friendly staff an all round winner for you chippy dinner.

The best chip shop in Stroud. Went there whilst on holiday last week. They were very friendly and funny too talk to. Fish and chips were lovely. Thank you Big Fish!

A nice piece of cod but the chips were a soggy lump. The staff are very friendly and a large portion will feed a family of four!

They never disappoint with massive portions at a great price. Sadly they've stopped doing fish without batter (I have a wheat intolerance), but still plenty of choice.
