Nice pub with log fire for when it's cold and an excellent view from its conservatory and rear garden but garden has afew steps to navigate. Front garden flat but rather uninspiring and in the shade. Decent pub grub but maybe standard has slipped during last couple of years.

Lovely experience here. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was also super tasty! Definitely recommend the roasts here. Was a little put off with the smelly dogs, but overall amazing experience, thank you

The pub inside is nice, modern but could do with a dust as there were quite a few cobwebs. However the food is absolutely incredible, me and my family loved every single dish. Everything was cooked to perfection! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, also knowledgeable on what was vegan. We will definitely come back to this pub.

Lovely pub, good selection of food and friendly staff. No car park as it's so tight up in these old villages but there is usually road parking. Beautiful views over Stroud Valleys

Lovely pub, roaring fire to warm you on a cold winter's day. Lovely views. Good choice of food + drink. Well worth a visit.

Came here on new year's day for my partner's birthday with our two children. We had a lovely cosy table next to the stove. Beautiful views over the Gloucestershire countryside, great food and friendly service. Would highly recommend?

Perfect country pub after a walk across the Common. Popped in with wife, baby and 9yr old for a drink. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely feel about the place. Definitely coming back.

We ate lunch here and all though I didn't take any photos, the food was really good pub grub. We had a baked cheese starte for 2 which was delicious. I had a gammon steak with peas, chips, egg and pineapple and my wife had sausages and mash. The food was really well cooked and service was good. We sat out the back and had a lovely view across the valley. I would definitely recommend this pub.

Great food and friendly helpful staff, lovely setting with fantastic panoramic views, indoor seating in the conservatory is best when when the weather is poor, else in a covered pod or on the decking when the sun shines, well worth a visit. We could not find any official parking, just cars randomly left on gravely side roads.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner and drinks. The pub garden is absolutely beautiful with spectacular views, plenty of seating, and well-tended flowerbeds. I had a delicious gin I'd not tried before (Wildcat Bramble) and the meal was excellent, far better than usual pub fare. Our burgers were juicy and the chips were perfectly cooked. A generous portion of sticky toffee pudding rounded things off nicely. Staff were friendly and polite and service was prompt. Recommended to visit.
