The Edgemoor Inn in Stroud

We moved to Gloucester 7 weeks ago and with a special celebration Easter Sunday we wanted somewhere special to take our family for a meal, on a friend's advice we booked the Edgemoor Inn. We couldn't have chosen a nicer venue, apart the the setting and the staff, the food(the main part!) was wonderful! Thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Thank you.

Ate here for a weekday lunch. Was nice a quiet with super quick and friendly service. Food was great quality and portions were just right. A good menu choice of main meals. The desserts went down really well too! We were seated next to the window which has stunning views across the landscape, I would recommend anyone to make a visit here for lunch with a view!

Absolutely amazing. The steak pie was jam packed with steak, soft and tender. The gravy was amazing and then the view topped off an amazing time. Very helpful and pleasant service. Would definitely come again.

Fantastic view. We were lucky enough to have a table right by the window. Food was really good & the service too.

Food was of high quality for sure as per the reviews but the menu is very dated. I wouldn't call it a gastro pub with 80's classic such as steak and chips, gammon and pineapple, hunters chicken very 2021. My bad for not checking the menu first. Staff were friendly however and reasonably priced, the dinning room was a little modern and would benefit from making it a little more cosy.

Had a Sunday lunch it was beautiful. And not a bad price. Staff were friendly and helpful 😊

Amazing lunch enjoyed today with excellent service and fantastic dietary requirement knowledge. Cannot recommend enough. The vista was definitely an added bonus.

Food was very nice and the service was very good considering there was nearly 20 of us for a family birthday meal last night.The staff are friendly and helpful and will go out there way to ensure that you have a great dining experience.It is in a great location and has great views.The beers on offer were fantastic and the wines were nice aswell.

Cotswold inn with lovely restaurant and bar area. Good range of wines and real ales. Great new menu with good vegetarian choices and tasty deserts. Outside seating area has fab views of Stroud valley towards Painswick. Would love to have an open fire here to complete the homely Cotswold look.
