The Frocester in Stroud

Simple unpretentious pub and hotel in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds. Great staff and polite clientele. Will be back. We’ll done. So second night at The Frocester incase night one was a fluke! Even better. Staff are just awesome, can’t do enough for you. Really impressed with this place. Nothing is too much trouble.

Popped in for a quick meal. Excellent service and great food.

Lovely pub. Stopped for a pint after a country walk. Very friendly bar staff, lovely ale and cider on tap.

Popped in for late lunch. The vegetarian mushroom, spinach, leek and walnut roast was the most delicious meal I've had for a while. Great friendly service. Clean and attractive rooms.

We dined at The George on a Sunday evening when most eateries are closed. We had a very warm welcome from the staff. We were offered the full menu. The food was very good quality and very nicely prepared. Thank you.

Really nice food. Excellent service and nice atmosphere. Beautiful place with a large beer garden. If you're on a budget though just stick to the drinks, having said that, the extra money is well worth expense. Not overly expensive, there are cheaper places to eat. But as the old saying goes 'you get what you pay for'.

I was treated to a belated birthday lunch here and it was lovely. Food was delicious, with a good choice (I think the platter of mini desserts is just right for sharing after the generous portions of the main courses). Tasteful surroundings, calm and helpful staff made it a relaxing atmosphere.

The George at Frocester is great in every way... food, service, rooms... we can’t fault it!I stayed here the day before and after my wedding day. The room we stayed in was super comfortable and lovely. It was very relaxing and it felt like we were on holiday. The breakfast is yummy too!The staff are absolutely lovely! We are locals here and do come regularly for the food and drink. One of my favourite places! Just love it! 👍🏽
