If I could give 0 stars I would. Went there today after it being shut and up for sale for a long time. Was pleased to see a local place open. Order was wrong food was disgusting over cooked stale rolls. My partner ate his being the only thing different he has eaten as mine went in the bin he has since come down with a awful tummy. Will be avoiding this place and recommend anyone else do the same!

Lovely food, lovely café owner, and very decent prices! Great views of the adjacent airfield while you eat your food too!

Really slow service. Ordered a jacket potato had to wait 20 minutes whilst 10 people got their food before me. In the end I had to get a refund. When I did ask for a refund the chef said “I was just about to put it on”. Unbelievable!!! Avoid!!Only one star as I couldn’t score zero

I had occasion to use the Glider cafe recently and what a great place it was to. I had a bacon baguette and tea of good size and beautiful fresh bread and well cooked bacon. Plenty of room inside and outside in the summer with lots of newspapers to read if you wish. Great variety of choice including cake, and the staff where a joy to deal with, Friendly, warm welcome and made you feel most welcome. They would chat if you wanted or leave you in peace if so inclined. If you are looking for a break with a bite to eat and a hot drink, I can highly recommend this place to you.
