Staff seem to be a bit better than they used to be,good size potions if you eat alot

Very good fish and chips, happy to cater for dietary requirements with gluten free options. Staff have been friendly every time I've been in. Mini fish and chips is actually a manageable portion size which is nice to see.

OMG they are great. The portions are huge. I had the 3 piece chicken and chips. I got to chose which pieces I wanted and not only were they massive they were juicy tasty and full of flavour. Highly recommended 👌 KFC who !!!

A long wait in the queue. Staff pleasant but we appeared to have a new one who messed our order up a bit which was made right and sorted but the main part sat on the side whilst it was being sorted. This meant by the time we got it back it needed microwaving as it wasn't very hot. The chips were really greasy... Not sure if this was due to the wait? Felt a bit sorry for the new lad as he was trying but that didn't help us in the end. The other staff tried to help and were busy and friendly. Maybe we just got a bad night?Positives were meal deals we're good value and the do coley which is a great fish.

The Great British Takeaway, is a fantastic fish and chip shop.My children agree that it is the best fish and chip shop that they have ever had.The staff work incredibly hard and they are very welcoming and very friendly.I would highly recommend them.

Top chip shop here!They even have fresh chicken delivered every morning by the local butcher to do there southern fried chicken what is really tasty!The flame grilled beer burgers are awesome too!The staff always have a smile & make you feel very welcome.There is now a gluten free menu now.The click & collect is the way to go to avoid the queues as they do get very busy.I would highly recommend this chip shop 👍🏻

Have NEVER had a bad chippy tea from here - the fish flakes in lovely crispy batter (tried both cod and haddock and both are delicious!), the chips are consistently fab and the staff there are always friendly.Always hygienic and clean and considering the current situation (COVID19) everything has been managed extremely well. Would definitely recommend as a takeaway go-to!

Easy to order on line and no collection queue. Those just turning up had a distanced queue outside. Fish was good and a large portion both for regular and large size. Chips were disappointing . Prices depends on what you are used to. We found them about the same price as our local chip shops in the South/South East. Discussion on the stars. My wife thought 3 , i thought 4 we agreed to be generous.

Down here on holiday and stumbled across the place. Massive portion size and very tasty. So good i went back the next day ☺
